Eddie Watkins Jr., born in Detroit Michigan (the birthplace of the Motown sound), was given a piano at age 7 by his grandmother who recognized his musical talent. This rambunctious seven-year-old turned out to be a gifted musician and composer, playing piano, bass, guitar, drums and saxophone throughout junior high and high school.  However, Eddie’s true love was the bass guitar and by age 17 Eddie continued his dream, playing bass for Motown’s Norman Whitfield and supporting artists like the Temptations, The Undisputed Truth, and many other Motown greats.  Eddie has become a Motown and R&B legend who has performed with Marvin Gaye, Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, James Brown, Santana, Cher, Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, the Pointer Sisters, Peter Frampton and more.

Success and the fast life led Eddie to substance abuse, recovery and a spiritual search for deeper meaning of his life. This search led to a spiritual awakening and a call to serve humanity through his music.  He has served as musical director at the Center for Spiritual Living greater Las Vegas and the Center for Spiritual Living Seattle.

Today with 6 CDs of original life-altering high consciousness music under his belt, Eddie is on tour across America raising the vibration of the planet with his music.
