Faith does not come easily to everybody. Some struggle with the whole concept of a deity even existing, let alone being responsible for all creation. But, why not believe in God? This week, we look at faith and God from a pragmatic perspective.

Jim currently freelances musically, playing with many bands in area nightclubs such as The Fenix Rising Band, TheH!TS Band Ken Brewer, and Marty and the Hornets. Jim and guitar player Ray Davis have also hooked up to form an acoustic Jazzy/Pop Duo that plays at wineries in the Vancouver/Portland area. Every Sunday night he hosts a jam session at the Trail’s End Saloon in Oregon City featuring JT Thomas and Marty Henninger. Jim has most currently become the bassist with “The Fenix Rising Band”, an exciting band that plays funky, soul music at a local club called the Blue Diamond. An active part of the Portland CSL music program, Sunday mornings are often enjoyed playing and singing with Lauri Jones and “The Friends Band.”
