SIGN-UP for small groups – Nonviolence as a Spiritual Path

Do you enjoy connecting with your community peers, growing your relationships while deepening your spiritual practice? Then PCSL small groups are for you! Our next small group adventure is: Nonviolence as a Spiritual Path

Nonviolence is based in agape Love for all beings. It is a powerful spiritual practice, one that can transform our relationships and help us navigate these challenging times. It is not only refraining from violent physical actions, but also from internal violence in how we think of others and ourselves.

In these small groups, participants will read or listen to and discuss short works from various proponents of nonviolence, including Gandhi, Howard Thurman, Dr. King, Pema Chodron, and Thich Nhat Hanh. In addition, participants are encouraged to share about other proponents of nonviolence who they admire. There will also be opportunities to develop nonviolence practices in your life and for our community.
