Rent Our Space

Portland Center for Spiritual Living welcomes community groups, classes, workshops and private events in our space at 6211 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. We're glad to share our home with groups whose work fits with our spiritual community.

Our Spaces

• Community Room: up to 8 people. Good for small groups, classes and meetings.
• Sanctuary: up to 109 people. Good for workshops, performances, ceremonies and larger gatherings.

Before you apply, look through the Renter Room Guide. It has photos of each space and shows where the light switches are.

Which Agreement Do I Need?

• Event Rental Agreement: for a one-time event, such as a workshop, celebration, memorial or concert.
• Ongoing Rental Agreement: for a group that meets on a regular schedule, such as weekly or monthly.

How to Apply

1. Download the agreement that fits your rental.
2. Fill it out. The PDF is fillable, so you can type right into it. You can also print it and fill it in by hand.
3. Initial each statement to show you've read and understood our space guidelines.
4. Sign and date the agreement.
5. Include proof of insurance if you have it. Ongoing renters must provide proof of insurance naming Portland Center for Spiritual Living as additional insured.
6. Email your completed agreement to info@cslportland.org. Put"Rental Application – [Your Group or Event Name]" in the subject line.

We'll review your application and reach out to confirm availability, fees, deposit and next steps. Your rental is not confirmed until a Portland Center for Spiritual Living representative signs the agreement.

Good to Know

• No food or drink in the sanctuary.
• The kitchen is for coffee and tea only, and you bring your own supplies.
• No open flames (candles, incense, burning bowls) without permission.
• Please put rooms back the way you found them, and turn off all lights before leaving.
