Rev. Casey Moffett-Chaney co-founded the Portland Center for Spiritual Growth in 1992, and continues to serve as a New Thought Minister through teaching, counseling and officiating ceremonies.
Casey has been married to her wife, Berdell, since 1983. Together they have experienced a life that includes parenting, dancing, various sports teams, home-flipping, and raising numerous fur babies. Joey, their 9-year-old Chihuahua mix is always with them.
Casey has a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music. She taught public school band and choir for 10 years before becoming a full-time minister.
Fun fact: Out of necessity, in 2008, Casey and Berdell invented and patented a cat product they call MeowSpace.
